Markets and parameters¶
Two markets at launch, each with its own Money Pool, floor ratio and premium curve. This page is the public version of every adjustable parameter of the protocol, and it also lists the settings of the testnet demo market.
Global parameters¶
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Tenor | 7 days |
| Daily settlement time | 12:00 UTC, the same for all markets |
| Price freshness required at purchase | Updated within 5 minutes |
| Withdrawal delay | 1 hour |
| Protocol share | 10% of every premium, paid into the protocol treasury |
| Protocol revenue split | 80% buys back and burns PUT; 20% goes to the development team for operating costs and income |
| Floor rounding | Down to 0.0001 USDG |
| Maximum settlement deferral | 72 hours, then void |
| Curve recalibration window / safety factor | Last 30 days of volatility / theoretical premium × 1.2 |
| Kink multiple / cap multiple | Start × 2 / start × 5 |
The two pools¶
| NVDA pool | UNI pool | |
|---|---|---|
| Protected asset | NVDA | UNI |
| Floor | price at purchase × 95% | price at purchase × 90% |
| Money Pool cap | 2,000,000 USDG | 2,000,000 USDG |
| Minimum notional per purchase | 10 USDG (at the purchase price) | 10 USDG |
| Premium rate at 0% utilization | 0.8% | 2.0% |
| Premium rate at 90% utilization | 1.6% | 4.0% |
| Premium rate at 100% utilization | 4.0% | 8.0% |
Premium curve¶
The premium rate is set by the Money Pool's utilization along a line with one kink and three points: utilization 0%, 90% and 100%. Between two points the rate is interpolated linearly; at 100% utilization no new purchases are accepted. These are rates per 7 days.
Example: at 45% NVDA utilization, rate = 0.8% + (1.6% − 0.8%) × 45 / 90 = 1.2%.
Weekly recalibration by volatility¶
At the start of every week the first point of the curve is recomputed from the realized volatility of the official price over the last 30 days, and the other two points follow at fixed multiples:
Start (0%) = theoretical 7-day premium at this floor and this volatility × 1.2, rounded up
Kink (90%) = start × 2
End (100%) = start × 5
When volatility rises the premium rises; when it falls the premium falls. The inputs, the formula and the result are published every week. A new curve only affects later purchases; protection already bought keeps its rate.
One market, one pool¶
The NVDA Money Pool backs only NVDA protection, and the UNI pool only UNI. Choosing a market as a depositor means choosing which asset's risk you take. USDG in the two pools is never mixed.
Adding a market requires a separate review and is not a commitment. Parameter changes are updated on this page and announced.
Testnet market¶
A demo market runs on the Robinhood Chain testnet so that the whole flow can be walked through end to end. It uses PUTGO's own test tokens (mock TSLA, mock USDG), not the official test TSLA / USDG handed out by the testnet faucet; these tokens can be minted directly from the app and have no value. The steps are in the Testnet guide.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| App | https://putgo.fi/app/ |
| Network | Robinhood Chain Testnet, chain id 46630 |
| Protected asset | mock TSLA (18 decimals) |
| Settlement currency | mock USDG (6 decimals) |
| Floor | price at purchase × 95% |
| Tenor | 7 days |
| Daily settlement time | 12:00 UTC |
| Price freshness required at purchase | Updated within 5 minutes |
| Protocol share | 10% of every premium |
| Floor rounding | Down to 0.0001 USDG |
| Money Pool cap | 2,000,000 USDG |
| Minimum purchase / minimum deposit | 10 USDG of value |
| Initial premium curve | 0.80% / 1.60% / 4.00% (at 0% / 90% / 100% utilization) |
| Initial pool funding | 500,000 mock USDG |
| Contract | Address |
|---|---|
| mock TSLA | 0x4B0E9B2f3747fb9D11CeA2Cb3518365D16E809e4 |
| mock USDG | 0x42fa9A8085c0bc633Afa4e19a1f491db9a4dC0fE |
| TSLA market (7-day protection) | 0x46047de410c2c9954A2FC5dBCfBeDeAbe994969e |
| Price feed | 0x8EB3Bbb0B82e57b152bBa98153026f3d6B532746 |
The price feed is maintained by an automated price updater run by the PUTGO team, which writes the mainnet Chainlink TSLA/USD price into the testnet about every 2 minutes, so a price is available even outside US market hours (it shows the last mainnet print).
How the testnet version differs from the target product
- Withdrawals are instant, with no withdrawal delay, but still limited to the unreserved part of the pool.
- Premium is not released second by second; it is credited to the pool once a day at 12:00 UTC, per position.
- The daily settlement price is recorded by a single operator account, which can also pause new purchases.
